If you, like me, keep many of your sewing/crafting supplies out in the open in decorative containers, you’ll love this quick-’n-easy project from Dianne Faw! Simply take the cover out of a tape dispenser, use it as a template to make a new, pretty one (from scrapbook paper, gift wrap, a map, whatever you have on hand), and put the new cover in. So cute! ♥
P.S. I’m keeping my new dispensers in this fabric basket that I fashioned from an “oops” while making my first bracelet purse. And if you haven’t tried a bracelet purse yet, click here. They’re so much fun to make and give for little girl gifts!
Oh my gosh, how cute!
Isn’t it??? I love finding easy, pretty ideas like this!
Same here! Make something ugly cute!
Also, I can’t remember who I’ve told and who I haven’t but…I have nominated your blog for not one, not two, not even three, but 4 awards!! Enjoy!

Oh, thank you! How kind! Please allow me to *bend* the rules a bit and, instead of writing a post about myself, add the buttons to my sidebar with a big THANK YOU to you (plus, when you click on each button, it links back to you!) as a token of my appreciation. And keep up the great work on your blog! Thank you again!
Katherine
That is TOTALLY fine with me!
It took so long to do that post, I wouldn’t do it again! So I understand lol You’re very welcome! :=D
So cute! I believe in prettifying everything
Any thoughts for improving refillable tape dispensers?
Hmm . . . maybe check out Pinterest? Let me know if you find something! Thank you!
I just wanted to let you know that I have nominated you for The Versatile Blogger Award.
If you’d like to accept this award then please take it to your blog and pass it on – if this is not your cup of tea then please accept this as a compliment on your blog.

Very cute!
Thank you! It’s fun to find a quickie project that puts a smile on your face!
Oh! What a brilliant idea!
I agree . . . whoever thought of it first IS brilliant!
Thank you for visiting!
Hi- thanks for ‘liking” my blog. i thought I would see what you were up to. I TOTALLY love this tape dispenser idea. So easy. I can’t believe I didn’t think of it. I’m always covering boxes and things with decorative paper. I’m definitely going to do this.
Thanks for the idea
You’re most welcome! And I love your blog!
How cute are those? I think I am going to have to start using disposable tape dispensers again, just so that I can decorate them. Thanks Pillows
You’re so welcome! But I wonder if those refill rolls would work in these???
I use one of those heavy refill tape dispensers and I guess it too can be decorated.Nothing that a little fabric or fancy scrapbook paper with a side of decoupage cant cure. I will try it. I’ll take before and after pics.
Yay! Can’t wait to see it!
I have to go work out when I get home but I’m pretty sure I can sneak in a little craft session before bedtime. Hopefully it wont have an overtly Frankenstein motif about it when I’m done, lol!
Great quick and easy idea. =)
My favorite kind!
Thank you for visiting!
I love this idea!!! I’m going to do this with every tape dispenser in the house
Me, too! I keep finding them and redoing them! So easy and fun and pretty!
Enjoy!

Love this simple idea. I’m thinking of doing it inside my Walmart plastic boxes. I saw that on Pinterest, but I know it will take a lot longer.
Ooohhh . . . LOVE that idea! Anything to make the world a prettier place, right?
Be sure to post pics if you do!
