I love this idea! Really embodies what crafting is all about… “Gee, I have this thing. What can I make with it?” I look forward to more in the series. Thanks for stopping by my blog, too, and liking my barstool cover sewing how-to. 🙂
Thank you! I’m having fun with it! Right now I’m getting ready to do a “What can you make with a . . .” on a couple of items my blogging friends have sent. It will be fun to try to tailor the surprises to their tastes and lifestyles! And I’m following your blog, too! It’s full of great projects! 🙂
This is a great way to categorise refashion/repurpose posts! You’re quite clever with what you come up with. Some of my out-of-the-box thinking turns into into-the-bin crafting!!
Very cute! Love owls. I’m making a set of owl handwarmers at the moment, based on a pattern from the November edition of Molly Makes magazine. Also adorable.
What a kind thing to say! I think I just like to try every creative idea I find . . . a blessing and a curse! 🙂 Thank you so much for visiting my blog! 🙂
Love it! Such a great idea and inspirational, even for not-so-effortless crafters like myself… 🙂 Here’s a little bit about “what you can do with…felt” (but if you’re like me, you’ll need some kleenex too….) http://avintagelife.wordpress.com/2013/07/07/feeling-the-felt/
I love all these projects! Was wondering if you have ever used the Cricut Imagine. My neighbor is selling hers and has given me first crack at it. I have an embroidery machine that I can download many, many designs so I’m not sure I would need something else that big. It basically looks like I can do most of that with my embroidery machine. Any thoughts?
I’ve never used a Cricut or embroidery machine . . . sorry I can’t help you decide! But my daughter-in-law really loves her Cricut, and I’m sure you’d have lots of fun with it! 🙂 Can’t wait to see all your new projects! 🙂

Mine, too! But it’s always fun to try, isn’t it! 🙂
