If you followed the Good Neighbor Award, you know that Crafty Staci is the giveaway winner . . . a “What Can You Make With” redo of a loved but no-longer-worn garment. I received her choice in the mail last week—so beautiful! I’ll save that photo for the reveal, but today I want to share the gift Staci sweetly included. She makes lots of adorable coffee cup sleeves (as well as fun camera accessories!) to sell in her Etsy shop, and she sent me this fun pencil sleeve. It’s perfect for my “real” job, and I just love it! She even has a new bat sleeve for Halloween! Plus, Staci’s packaging is so tasteful and professional, including printed sleeve holders and lovely fabric tags. Thank you, Staci, and I’ll be starting onΒ your project very soon!Β β₯

So cute, it makes me want to start drinking coffee. Looking forward to the redo reveal, too!
I agree, Deidre . . . coffee is totally worth it with such a cute decoration! π And thank you for cheering me on for the redo. I’m having fun with it! π

Thanks for sharing, Katherine. I can’t wait for the reveal. They are among my favorite posts.
She’s has such clever ideas! π And the redo project is going splendidly so far . . . I’ve got so many ideas! π
I know you do! They are always creative and interesting. Can’t wait.
Katherine, you are so sweet! I am so beyond excited to see what you do with the item I sent to you. It’s been in a box for so long, I can’t wait to be able to look at pieces of it every day!
Thank you again for such a fun gift, Staci! And speaking of fun, I’m so enjoying working with your lovely garment . . . once I got brave enough to get out my scissors and seam ripper and take the pieces apart! π I’ll let you know as soon as everything is in the mail! Then you can decide whether you want to see them first on my blog or in person . . . your choice! π
I’m definitely glad you’re the one with seam ripper in hand, Katherine. I don’t know if I could have done it, but I’m very excited to see what happens to it in your talented hands! I’ve leave the reveal up to you – I’m happy either way!

I agree, Lois! I have a little handmade one I carry in my purse for when I go out to coffee with friends, but I’ll definitely be replacing it with this one! π

So fun! And yes, so KATHERINE! What a sweetheart! And so deserving of this award. Can’t wait to see your creations in her honor….
What a cheery comment to start the day! You’re a sweetie yourself, dear Lauren! π
I will never look at material the same way since I met you. I have done a little “what can you make with of my own” but I will keep it under wraps until yours is done and link it to mine to show where i got the inspiration. The children and I recycled a dolls dress to make sock monkey clothes and phone cover which goes around my waist so I can listen to talking books while walking or doing chores. I am looking forward to seeing what you come up with and I LOVE Stacis work especially the pencil one. π
Sharon, I canβt wait to see them! And weβre kindred spirits with our talking books! I download freebies from the Kansas Library and listen to them on my mp3 player when I walk, do chores around the house, or sew. Have you listened to The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins? Itβs a classic mystery . . . VERY long . . . but I fell in love with that book and was actually sad when it was over! π
I too borrow / download my talking books from my local library in Melbourne. I read “Woman in white” when I was quite young and I loved it. It has stayed with me in the “books that stay with you” section of my brain. It was a profound story and made me a little more compassionate.
I must read/listen to it again. π
Oh my gosh….too darn cute!!!
Isn’t it??? I can’t wait to go out for coffee so I can show it off! π
ADORABLE! Do you make these to sell, I want 2
