Well…I didn’t find the punkins…decided on another way of decorating. I want to post a couple of photos soon, and definitely have to refer folks back to this post!!
I think I got it at Target (or a similar store) in the cake decorating aisle. The manufacturer is Wilton . . . they make all sorts of cake pans, cupcake papers, sprinkles, and other fun things. Good luck! π
How beautiful. You never seem to run out of inspiration. I love that the bow tie was from your grandpa, it keeps him fresh in your mind during the holidays.
I saved all my grandfather’s neckties, but still haven’t done anything with them so I passed them on to my dil hopefully she will complete something from them.
Wow . . . thank you! π I’m loving it . . . and I think I might swap out the mini-pumpkins for Christmas tree ornaments and the bow tie for a ribbon after our Thanksgiving gathering next month! π
OMG those mini pumpkins… They look so sweet and cute and to die for! I haven’t seen them here in the Netherlands, but I hope I will stumble upon some very soon.
I love it!! And it gives me an idea for our Fall Fest at school. One of our booths will be Cuties (clementines) that kids can draw faces on with a Sharpie. How cool would it be to have a cupcake stand filled with decorated Cuties? Thanks for the inspiration!!
That’s the way mine was!!! I think it will be really cute with Christmas tree balls on it, too . . . and maybe oranges after that . . . it will be fun to see how it evolves! π
This looks festive and beautiful! I need to go find a cupcake stand like yours π
They’re SO handy for entertaining, too! Hope you find one! π
What a cute idea!
Thank you, Kelly! π
Gorgeous. Pinned it π
Well, how sweet is that! Thank you! π

Thank you! π Oh, and your art never fails to make me smile! Keep up the beautiful work! π
Love it – I wonder how it would look on my plate stand, since I don’t have one of these cupcake stands.
That’s a GREAT idea! I don’t have a plate stand or I’d try it myself! π
I have the plate stand, but I lack those cute little itty bitty tiny punkins though. Gotta look for them maybe tonight when we go grocery shopping.
We got ours at a pumpkin stand. Good luck!!! π

Yay! Can’t wait to see what you make! π
Such a simple concept, yet it looks so darling. Love the bowtie on top!
Thank you! My dad gave me my grandpa’s bow ties awhile back, so I’ve been having fun finding ways to use them. They always make me smile! π
I love that! How clever to think outside the box – or cupcake papers in this case.
Thank you! π I don’t know how these objects collide in my brain like they do . . . but sometimes it’s a good thing! π
Well what ever the inspiration is, keep up the good work! It’s definitely working.
Whatever that inspiration is, keep with it. It’s working! Great job!

I gotta start over. Hubby used up all my yellow tomatoes tonight! Oh well…the salsa was delicious. Now I’ll HAVE to find those lil punkins. π
I’ve seen some really pretty gourds at the grocery store and pumpkin patch, too . . . do you have those? π
I love the stand. Where did you find it?
Someplace like Target in the cake decorating section! π
I have a barely ever used cupcake holder- Thank goodness there is another (BETTER) use for it!! Very clever, thank you!
That’s the way mine was!!! I think it will be really cute with Christmas tree balls on it, too . . . and maybe oranges after that . . . it will be fun to see how it evolves! π
Ohhh! What great ideas! You are smok’n!
I have that same stand broken in my craft room, maybe I will fix it and make this!
Yay! And for Christmas, I’m going to replace the mini-pumpkins with Christmas tree balls and put a bow on top . . . then . . . π
