Red, Green, and Orange

Standard

All three of the leafy placemat tote bags I made last spring have finally found a niche.  I shared the red one a few days ago—it’s hanging on the wall in the dining room filled with dried eucalyptus branches.  The green one is now on the coat/umbrella rack by our front door filled with pretty scarves and gloves to grab on the way out.  And the orange one . . . well, it’s the perfect autumn running-around tote . . .  for now . . .  ♥

  1. It looks so nice and fall-like. Makes me think of comments Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks made about the fall in NY and how it made them think of a bouquet of freshly sharpened pencils and brightly coloured leaves and twinkly lights in shop windows. I saw these pics and thought those same things. It’s great they way you’ve pulled together an entire outfit in the last one, too.

    • Thank you! It’s really fun to read and hear of others’ descriptions of autumn . . . there’s something universally appealing about it, I think! 🙂 But then we feel the same way when spring come, don’t we! 🙂

    • I KNOW!!! I always try to decorate for Christmas as soon as our house empties from the Thanksgiving holiday . . . we’ll see if that happens this year! 🙂

  3. These look great! I have lots of scarves which are taking up too much room in my dresser; a bag on the hallstand would be handy and look decorative, as well as helping to solve the storage problem … =D
