Dave requested a sour cream chocolate cake for Valentine’s Day this year, and I found just the one on Taste of Home. Since the recipe is for a layer cake, I used my heart-shaped pans. It’s a keeper! ♥

It really was easy, Debbierose, and it was my first successful layer cake of my life (as in everything came out of the pans without crumbling and everything stuck together just the way it should without sliding around). So I’ll definitely be making this again! 🙂
