J-O-Y

Standard

Besides my felt peppermint wreath, another favorite decoration at our home is this set of decoupaged J-O-Y letters . . . I made them from upcycled Christmas cards! Click here for complete instructions as well as links to lots of other fun, crafty Christmas projects. ♥

  1. What a great way to recycle! I always feel bad throwing away such pretty Christmas cards at the end of the season.

  3. What a creative way to re-cycle those Christmas cards! Someday, when I can bare to do something with mine, I will do that. For now, I keep them in a basket that I put out from year to year. It’s nice to go back and read them and see the lovely hand made ones.

    • I love your tradition, Ginny! I have several years’ worth of cards my daughter-in-law Shannon has made, and I hang them on a mobile every December. I have others that I’ve kept a long time, too, and probably always will. 🙂
