Blogger Locket Giveaway (Hmmm . . . wish I could win this!)

LocketMy lovely art teacher daughter-in-law Tiffany just became an independent designer for Origami Owl. Have you seen these amazing “Living Lockets” yet? You choose your locket size and design, fill it with hand-picked charms, and (if you like) add plates, dangles, and tags. Then you either purchase a chain or wear your creation on a chain or ribbon you already own. They’re absolutely beautiful! So Tiffany and I put our heads together and came up with a “blogger locket” giveaway that we think you’ll love! It includes:

  • the large silver Living Locket with crystals,
  • 5 charms: a laptop computer, a camera, a pair of scissors, a cup of coffee (or tea!), and the April stone,
  • an 18-inch silver ball station chain,
  • and an “Inspire” tag that can be worn either with the locket or separately.

You can see close-ups of all the components below!

To enter this giveaway, you only have three easy steps to follow:

(1) “Like” Tiffany’s Origami Owl Facebook page here. (But if you’re not on FB, no worries! You can still enter by skipping to Step 2! :))

(2) Go to Tiffany’s Origami Owl web site and find your favorite charm here. (Click on “Charm Collections” on the “Living Lockets” page.)

(3) Leave a comment below telling us you’ve liked the FB page (see note on Step 1) and what your favorite charm is.

That’s it! A week from today (Monday, April 8) we’ll draw a name out of a hat and announce the winner right here at Pillows A-La-Mode. And not only does the winner get the blogger locket, but Tiffany will mail her the other charm she chose, too! So please join in the fun, and thank you for visiting Origami Owl today or anytime from my Shop Love! page above. ♥

P.S. I forgot to mention that Origami Owl’s packaging is amazing—a drawstring bag for the tag and a “fortune cookie” made of kimono fabric to keep your locket in, all delivered in a cute little take-out box! Oh, and Tiffany has also put together a Shutterfly book with design ideas. You can check it out here.

  1. I like Tiffany’s Origami Owl FB page. It was a hard choice, but my favorite charm is the soda bottle. So cute!!!!

  2. I am so in love with these! First of all, I do not have a FaceBook account so I cannot like “TOO”, but I would like to be included in this giveaway so badly! I would definitely love the little camera as my charm because all I do is take photographs! Thank you, Tiffany!

  3. So wonderful. Love the camera charm with the bling! Oh my goodness just noticed the maple leaf!!!! I love Origami Owl. I wonder could you place a dried flower in there? ♥♥♥

    • Lisa, what a creative idea! I’m sure if you didn’t put any charms in there that might damage your dried bloom, it would probably work just fine. Good luck in the drawing tomorrow, and thanks for stopping by my site!

  4. I like Tiffany’s Origami Owl FB page…What a clever idea…who could not like this idea…
I chose the Red Cardinal…because that is my state, KENTUCKY …state bird…
and also our LOuisville Cardinal Basketball Team’s mascot…
who will be in the Final 4 for sure!
It would be so neat to win!…how fun!

  5. Oh these are gorgeous!!!! I liked the FB page and looked at the charms… hard to pick one favorite, but I love the vintage cross in silver.
    Fun giveaway…. hope I win!

  6. Hi Katherine, I was at Tiffany’s FB Page and clicked Like. That was a no brainer, how cute are these? I couldn’t possible just pick one charm, I loved the cat with Aqua colour, Aqua FlipFlops, Peace Sign, Eiffel Tower, Lady Bug, camera and the Initial B…oh and the sparrow….oK it was all so cute. Going back to look some more. Congratulations Tiffany, what a cute-cute thing. Good Luck with your new business!

    • Thank you! It sure is hard to pick a favorite. I seem to be partial to anything that sparkles… which doesn’t exactly narrow it down! Good luck in the drawing tomorrow, and thanks for stopping by my site!

  7. I’ve never seen these lockets. They are so cute, and thanks to you both for the giveaway opportunity! I liked Tiffany’s FB page. My favorite charm is, of course, the Clear Crystal Crown. 😉 Can’t wait to see who wins, and I don’t blame you for wishing you could win your own giveaway. These are awesome!

  8. I’ve never seen anything like this, and definitely not in South Africa. I love the concept of adding extra meaning through jewellery charms – the epitome of “value added”! I have liked your page, and my favourite charm is the Gold Puffy Heart. Good luck with your venture, may you go from strength to strength.
    Jill 🙂

  9. I rarely wear a necklace but those are so much fun I wouldn’t know where to start. I’m sure they will fly out of her virtual store. I wondered how many charms you could squeeze into one locket. So many I would have to select. Love this. I wish her all the best in this endeavor.

    • You can fit 4-7 charms in a medium locket, and 8-12 in a large locket. It all depends on the charms selected. Birthstones are smaller than average, and initials are larger than average, so depending on what you choose, you may find yourself on the low or high end of that spectrum. Thanks for the well wishes, and good luck in tomorrow’s drawing!

    • What great ideas for new products! (A little owl told me that there will be new charms debuting in the new catalog coming out later this month – fingers crossed that there will be some beer love!) Thanks for visiting my site, and good luck tomorrow!

    • I just received that charm! I have a “I am” tag that I pair with a locket containing the owl (for this new business); the artist’s palette (because I am an art teacher); the turquoise MOM charm (because that’s the most important role in my life); and the pink crystal heart to represent my marriage (10 years this May!).

Thanks for visiting my site, and good luck tomorrow!

    • I love the sparkle that the stones add to any locket. And since I like to change out my charms to match my outfit/occasion/holiday/mood… the stones are a perfect complement! Good luck tomorrow, and thank you for visiting my site!

  10. So happy to see that I don’t have to belong to Facebook to participate in this fun!! I loved looking through all the charms. Delightful! My favorite is the London Phone booth. I love to travel and there’s no better place than London. 🙂

  11. Hi there,

Wow, congratulations to you daughter-in-law, she must be very excited!!

I have ‘liked’ her page on facebook, and we have two favourite charms. Kitty’s favourite charm, is the ‘cat’, (D’uh) and my favourite charm is the sewing machine.

  12. I am SO glad to see that Origami Owl has taken off! I recently discovered them at a show (the kind with booths and stuff) in March and immediately fell in love and got one of my own. I was actually thinking of becoming a seller myself, but don’t have the time. The product really sells itself, though, and they have so many great causes behind them, too! Good luck to Tiffany. I liked her page on Facebook, and my favorite charm (that I don’t already own) is the crystal star:

I think I may also go through her for future purchases, too. I have a locket in mind to give my mom for Mother’s Day. 🙂

    • It’s true- the company is growing at a rate I didn’t think possible! I would love to help you create a locket for Mother’s Day (this is a perfect gift!), and would be happy to answer any questions you might have about becoming a designer yourself. As a mom of two, and full time art teacher, I understand busy. I also couldn’t pass up the opportunity, and love that I can choose how (and when, and how often) to fit O2 into my life.

The crystal star shows up in my locket a lot! A little sparkle, a fun shape, and appropriate for almost any theme. Great choice!

Good luck tomorrow! And thank you for stopping by my site!

  13. Those are so cute! My page liked hers on facebook, and I am torn between the fleur de lis (honeymoon), the dog, and the sewing machine. That looks like a great venture to be involved with!

  14. These are so gorgeous! I really like the sewing machine locket, I would so like to get one of these for my sister, I would put sister in it and I love shopping also a tree of life and life is a gift dangle! I have liked te FB page and would love to win this!

    • Your reaction is one I see a lot – the first thought is of a person who would love one as a gift. It’s fun to design one for someone else (which is one of the reasons why I love my job!), as well as yourself. Good luck tomorrow! And thank you for visiting my site!

  15. Oh my so many so beautiful … I LOVE the typewriter and the Camera … but must say teh Lady Bird is too cute as is the tiny TEA cup …and do like the iceskate

  16. Hi Katherine!
Adorable lockets! I have like Origami Owl on FB and my favourite charm is the rose-gold watch gear…because I think under my classic style is a Steampunk wanting to get out. 🙂
    Cheers,
    Laura

  17. These are gorgeous and I wish Tiffany all the best with her venture. I liked Origami Owl on facebook. I had a hard time choosing a charm, I narrowed it down to the enamel owl or the earth, the earth won out.

  18. I love this so much! Thank you for sharing Origami Owl with us. I imagine I will continue to look at this facebook page. Adorable!

I like Origami Owl on Facebook and I absolutely LOVE the sparrow charm!

  19. Oh my goodness – how in the WORLD can you pick just one?? I love the cross, the purse, the camera, the scissors, the sewing machine, the ….
OH – and I like her Facebook page too! 🙂

    • I know exactly how you feel! And I loved all the products so much, I became a designer so I could own it all. 🙂 Thanks for the FB love, and best of luck to you tomorrow!

  20. I am not on facebook but did the other directions. Soo hard to choose a fave but after careful consideration my fave is “the juicy red apple!” 🙂

  21. Thanks for sharing! It was hard to pick one, but it’s the Vintage Typewriter because it reminds me of the one I used to use as a kid, pretending I was a writer like my mom. I alos liked Tiffany’s FB page. Thanks for hosting!

    • I *love* hearing why people choose specific charms! What a lovely mental image your typewriter makes. Thanks for visiting my site, and good luck tomorrow!

  22. I liked the Facebook page from my personal Facebook page and also my Diary of a MadMama page! 😉 My favorite charm is the vintage cross in silver. I’m so excited about this giveaway, because each charm on this particular locket describes me perfectly, right down to my birthstone! 🙂 Hope I win!!!! Thanks for the opportunity! 🙂

  23. I liked Tiffany’s Origami FB page and there are so many cute charms to choose from, but I think my favorite is the little pink headphones since I love my music. The living locket idea is so wonderful. I love all the teeny tiny charms that go into the lockets, too. Great idea and I wish her much success.

  24. This is simply adorable! Really really nice!
I have liked the page with my Facebook Page and profile (Tex Cat).
And my favorite charm is the little cat 🙂
Thanks for the opportunity to win these. I’m definitely bookmarking the site anyway 🙂

  25. I liked the page. Really hard to choose just one charm, but I chose the Fleur de lis from the Travel category. I loved the Eiffel Tower and the London phone booth also. Awesome idea!

  26. I have liked Tiffany’s Origami Owl page via your link. Being Irish, my favourite charm has to be the four leaf clover – I know it’s not a shamrock, but it’s pretty close! Tiffany’s lockets are super cute – and if I was lucky enough to win, it would be doubly great, since the winner will be drawn on my birthday and my birthstone is in the locket! I have everything crossed! xxx

  27. I liked her page and left her a comment. My favorite charm is the ‘RN’ one because I am a nurse in addition to being a blogger. So excited about the chance to win this fabulous giveaway!

  28. I liked you on FB and Looking at all the charms my favorite one is the Pink Ribbon (Breast Cancer Awareness). What a great prize! I ordered a chain from Origami Owl one time and mine did not come in that beautiful packaging. 😦 That packaging is so cool.

    • Bummer! I wonder if you ordered before they introduced their cute packaging? (They are so young, and growing and improving every day! In fact a new catalog comes out in about a week!)
Thank you for visiting my site, and good luck tomorrow!

    • I agree- I love the attention to detail! There isn’t a thing I don’t love about this company’s branding, message, packaging, and products. Can you tell I’m smitten?
Thanks for visiting my site, and good luck tomorrow!
