Once some of my kids and I were watching House Hunters on HGTV and EVERY time the couple saw a new room in EVERY house, they said, “Oh, wow!” It made us laugh . . . but that was the FIRST thing I said when I opened my beautiful blog giveaway gift from Hannah at Hugs & Kisses!
Besides the vintage Singer sewing machine/scissors earrings she had pictured, she sent another gorgeous pair of earrings AND the loveliest note you’ve ever seen!
Thank you, Hannah, for giving me an “Oh, wow!” that I’ll cherish forever! ♥
Those are super cute! A real treasure. Isn’t Hannah the sweetest? Congrats!
I know . . . I’m SO tickled with this lovely gift! And she IS such a sweetie! 🙂 P.S. I’m loving following your Pinterest boards now! You’ve found so many great ideas! 🙂
Why, thank you! Pinterest can definitely be a black hole for time…so, I’m glad to hear that it has been fruitful! Eager to check out your boards now.
How unique the earrings are! You will look so stylish when you wear them. I especially adore the pink vase in the photo. It is gorgeous. 😉
Thank you! It was an anniversary gift from my husband . . . full of equally pretty flowers! 🙂
Nice!
I even made a framed earring storage/display today in their honor! 🙂
Lucky you!!! They’re lovely!!! Congrats!
I AM lucky!!! 🙂
Those sewing machine/scissors earrings are adorable. They remind me of my friend’s sewing machine. They had a treadle sewing machine that her dad, who suffered with MS, used for exercise. 🙂
I love that story! My grandmother had one, too . . . wish I still had it! 🙂
Those earrings are just beautiful – you know what caught my eye, though? That material behind the note. I got that exact material in a giveaway I won the first of the year, and haven’t been able to find it anywhere since I got it. I made a purse and zipper pouch out of it. Love, love, LOVE it!!
I love it, too! I made some framed jewelry displays with it. I still have lots more . . . pillows, maybe??? 🙂
Thank you for the blog post and all the links! I’m so pleased you like the earrings 😀 I like your ‘Oh Wow’ story too! I hoped the extra pair would be a happy and welcome surprise – and truly deserved.
speak soon xxxx
You’re an “OH, WOW!” yourself, Hannah! 🙂 Thank you again!!! P.S. These even inspired me to make a new earring holder/display this weekend! 🙂
ooh – Can’t wait to see your post about it xxx

How sweet…my Mom had the tredle machine…and I learned to sew on it…The earrings are “all that” as my Granddaughter would say…also like the others as well…Good for you!…mkg
Thank you! I know I’m really going to enjoy these! 🙂
Oooohh woooow! I think I was one of those kids watching HGTV w/you. 🙂 Those earrings are so fun!
Yes, you WERE!!! 🙂 xoxoxo
Wow, you have been a lucky girl of late. (2 Corinthians 9:6 NIV)
My Bible is right by my desk so I immediately looked up your verse . . . so now I’m all teary-eyed! Thank you!!! 🙂
I looked it up too. I found it encouraging and inspiring. Remind me of an old Australian saying:
“The harder I work the luckier I get!” Great earrings.
What a fun saying! 🙂 I’m going to remember that! 🙂

Thank you! I have a really pretty teal one just like it. Yay for wedding anniversaries! 🙂
