When I saw these black cat pillows on the Women’s Day website, I knew someone in my family who would LOVE them! I already had black fabric in my stash, as well as buttons and white embroidery floss. They’re quick and easy and cute, too! Have fun! ♥

Good idea . . . I hadn’t thought of that! Maybe the designer liked using squares because the upper corners look like the cat’s ears. Either way, right? 🙂

These are so cute! What did you use for the whiskers?
I used white “craft floss”–it’s like embroidery floss but doesn’t separate out into separate strands. But embroidery floss or plain ol’ string should work fine, too. Have fun making yours! 🙂
