The bit of fabric left over from my latest memo board is now a pillow (surprise! surprise!). I also had a little bag of heart buttons in coordinating colors in my stash, so I stitched them over some of the polka-dots on the front for a-la-mode. I think it will be a nice gift for a little girl whose favorite color keeps changing!Β β₯

how cute is this !!! The buttons make it, great job as always. I wish I knew how to sew π¦
Pillows are the easiest thing ever! With or without a sewing machine! And you’re such a gadget gal that you’d love sewing. Someday! π
I actually have a sewing machine, just have to read the manual. Until then, stitch tape has worked for me, lol.
I have a granddaughter who would love that pillow! She so over pink and so into purple.
This one is going to my oldest granddaughter for her birthday next week! π
I think it is so cute and definitely girly…love the button detail too…and
paired with the photo board…a great gift idea!~mkg
Thank you! I’ll be giving them to my sweet granddaughter Ally for her birthday this month! π
OH MY GOODNESS! HOW CUTE!!!
Thank you! π It’s DEFINITELY colorful! π
Where do you come up with all of these darling ideas?!!
What a sweet thing to say! π Really, though, I’m just having fun! π
The buttons on the pillow are darling!
They were such a fun find! π I didn’t know how I’d use them, but I knew I’d find a way! π
WOW! This one is gorgeous- must find some heart shaped buttons immediately!
Thank you! π I’ve actually had those buttons for years just waiting for the right project! π
I love this! I must try it soon!
Thank you! It was a lucky explosion of fabric and buttons, I think! π
Wow love this pillow, I do love bright colours and your choice of buttons really sets the pillow off.
Thank you! I just fell in love with that fabric! π
I love, love, LOVE this!! Brightly colored with some beautiful “extras” sewn on for good measure! Lovely job!
Thank you! I’m enjoying it here in my office until I give it away. π
I adore that pillow and can picture the two grand daughters both wanting one. Pillows are so easy to make that I have made them out of just about everything. When my son was younger he had sweatshirts he didn’t want to give up when he outgrew them, so I talked him into letting me make pillows out of them. He recently sent me a picture of his daughter claiming one of them! Although he also told me no more pillows are allowed to come to his house, darn!
I love that story!!! Well, all except the part about no more pillows! π
Cute! The buttons give some extra interest and dimension.
Thank you! It’s certainly girly! π
Very cute! Love the colours π
Thank you! You almost need sunglasses to look at it! π
I am absolutely in love with this pillow. That’s al there is to it. It has pretty much everything I love in it: purple, heart-shaped buttons, and ribbons.
Well, if I’d know that I’d have given it to you instead! π Thank you for the lovely compliment! π

my favorite color is always changing too.
True confession time . . .mine, too! π
Your cute buttons are sewn on perfectly even, how is that possible. As usual, great job!
Aww, thank you! In my latest project (post coming soon!) I’ve attached buttons by bringing the threads up from underneath and tying them in the front! It’s REALLY fast and gives an extra bit of a-la-mode. I’ll be doing that again! π
I adore this! So cute!!! Might have to snag this idea π you know my love for buttons π
Go for it, Heather! The world can never have too many pretty buttons out where everyone can see them! π
So cute!!! love it π
