My dad called from a garage sale yesterday and asked if I would like some clip-on earrings for my sewing/crafting projects. “Yes, please!” Here they are . . . I love all these new additions to my collection! And here are a few more fabric flowers I made on a (much shorter!) road trip this weekend with vintage earrings and buttons for centers. Click here for a supply list and link to a tutorial and here to see more flowers. ♥

Very cute! Mom never got her ears pierced, so she only wore clip-ons. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
Mine, too! And my grannies and aunts. 🙂
Wow. A tradition. Great! 🙂
What a great garage sale fine!! Love your fabric flowers!!
Thank you! And yes, I’m so lucky Dad spotted those . . . and called me! 🙂
I love vintage jewelry, but never thought to make flowers with them. What a unique idea! I inherited many pairs of clip-on earrings when my mom passed away. I love them all and I’m tempted to have them all converted to the pierced variety so I can wear them with all the coordinating pieces of jewelry that I have to go with them. 🙂
I’ve done that with some of my aunt’s fun earrings and probably will with some of these, too! So many options! 🙂
What an awesome dad…scouting out garage sales for you! Great find.
Yes, he’s a sweetie! 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!
Lucky girl! It takes so much time scouring sales and Ebay for vintage jewelry for my flowers. It’s great that your dad is watching out for you. Thanks.
Yes . . . what a fortunate find! He knows how much I loved my aunt’s fun jewelry (https://pillowsalamode.wordpress.com/2012/01/24/colorful-jewelry/) , so he just had to call. 🙂
What a great idea – I’m always seeing loads of old jewellery at local car boot sales and thinking ‘what can I use it for?’. Never thought of this. Lovely!
Wow . . . you’ll have to snap up some of that! Can’t wait to see what you make with it! 🙂
Hi! Thank you so much for stopping by and liking my blog. I am so happy to have found yours. It is adorable! I especially love the mini notebooks…what a cute idea!

Thank you! I was SO excited that Dad probably won’t even call first if he finds another batch! 🙂
Vintage jewelries! You could make a really awesome bridal bouquet with those!
Ooohhh . . . I hope to get to do that someday! Thank you for the idea! 🙂
I’m working on one using a styrofoam ball but it’s not working well as I expected. Let me know if you have any ideas. Happy crafting!
Wow! Way cool – my friend just gave me a whole bunch of jewelry today, and these look like fun to make for my purses.
They would be ADORABLE on purses! Can’t wait to see them! 🙂
so cute! what a great idea to use earrings as the centers!
I also have a bag of them that belonged to my aunt . . . so pretty and fun! 🙂
