If you really want to know someone, go to his house and eat with him…
people who share their food share their heart. (Cesar Chavez)

sloppy joes
salad
corn on the cob
deviled eggs
brownies and ice cream
But I’m bumping up the brownies a bit with a trick I recently read in a magazine: Make your regular recipe. Pour half into the greased pan. Lay peppermint patties over the batter. Pour the rest of the batter on top, then bake as usual. Reviews to come! ♥
Enjoy the family! Who all is coming into town? Wish we could be there, but we will be seeing you next weekend, which isn’t a terrible consolation prize!! 🙂 xoxo
PS: I’ve read a lot of recipes for treats that have peppermint patties hidden inside…it’s on my list of things to try!
I can’t WAIT to see you! Have a wonderful holiday with your family, and tell them all hi for me! Love to both of you! 🙂
OMG this sounds delicious Kathy! I may pyrate the idea.
And I can’t believe we get to see D. and B. in a week!!! Yea! I’m bringing Ember too. 🙂
Go right ahead! 🙂 And I hope to see you and Ember in KC!!! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Melissa!
I have got to try this. I wonder if it would work with Reese’s cups? Mmmm…
They were a huge hit, and I’m sure Reese’s cups (or any other candy bar bits) would work just as well. Let me know! 🙂
